Rohan認為，當建築、視覺藝術、文學、電影、社會學等學科進行跨領域對話時，便能創造出新的空間，讓關於建築實踐在倫理與美學層面所扮演角色的嶄新且切合時宜的構想得以浮現。

Rohan believes that Multidisciplinary encounters between architecture, visual art, literature, cinema, sociology and other disciplines can create spaces where new and relevant conceptions of the ethical and aesthetic role of architectural practice can emerge.

講者介紹

Rohan Shivkumar 是孟買建築師、都市設計和電影製作人，同時也是孟買大學 Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi 建築與環境學院 (KRVIA) 的建築系主任。他關注建築、城市研究、電影與視覺藝術，涵蓋空間、圖像、再現與展演性等議題，以學術作為研究和公共參與。 Rohan 的作品，包括探討電影文化，與孟買種姓制度、城市空間歷史之間關係的 Project Cinema City，以及聚焦於孟買在地社群的 The Forest in the City 等專案、出版、講座、工作坊和展覽。他的影像作品包括多項策展專案，與影片 Nostalgia for the Future， Squeeze Lime in Your Eye，Lovely Villa 等等。他的作品曾在芝加哥建築雙年展、沙迦建築三年展、首爾建築雙年展、世界社會論壇、 達卡藝術博覽會和卡塞爾文獻展（Documenta）上展出。

Rohan Shivkumar is an architect, urban designer, filmmaker, and the Head of the Department of Architecture at the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies (KRVIA), University of Mumbai. His work explores the intersections of architecture, urban studies, cinema, and visual arts, addressing questions of space, image, representation, and performativity. His projects include Project Cinema City, which examines cinema, caste, and the histories of urban spaces in Mumbai, and The Forest in the City, focusing on local communities and urban ecologies. His films, such as Nostalgia for the Future, Squeeze Lime in Your Eye, and Lovely Villa, have been featured at international platforms including the Chicago Architecture Biennial, Sharjah Architecture Triennial, Seoul Architecture Biennale, Dhaka Art Summit, and Documenta in Kassel.
